There's not been much in the news recently about Web 2.0 and the workplace, hence, perhaps my most barren period of blogging since I began this blog nearly four year ago.

I did come across a story today - centred around the collapse of Flyglobespan airlines based up here in Scotland.

According the BBC News story staff have not been informed about the state of the business, as one airline worker is quoted as such:

One senior cabin crew member for Flyglobespan told the BBC he had not yet been contacted by the company.

Tom Maguire from Prestwick added: "I'm completely devastated by this news the week before Christmas.

I feel totally let down.

"There is nothing on the staff website, we're just hearing things through Facebook.

No one has told me that I don't have a job."
